EuroAmerAlso curious about this. Looks like the big change was to double rip stop, netting an extra 30g weight loss?
Likewise, saw on Terra Nova's site that this isn't factory seam sealed. Anyone have a kit recommendation? Thanks!

VayaConCornholioIf one goes to this site http://web.archive.org/web/20151108112235/http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Backpacking-Tent-Reviews/Terra-Nova-Solar-Photon-2 and scrolls down to the heading: The New Version of the Terra Nova Solar Photon 2 vs. The Older Version it would appear one of the changes is in the location of the Guy Lines. of the two photos, new tent on left and old on right, it appears the old has the guy line in the mid section of tent and new line more up front. If one looks at the photo at Massdrop of the tent, the guy line also appears to be in the mid section which would indicate the tent being sold is the old version. Are my observations correct? Any thoughts? Would one be purchasing the older version here at Massdrop? Thanks for any feedback

EuroAmerYes, you are definitely correct. The one on Massdrop is the old version because its flysheet material was still Si/Si Nylon R/S 3000mm. Besides the weight issue, I believe the new version has better rainfly setup? Please correct me if I was wrong. Thank you!

EuroAmer @EuroAmer - We are definitely selling the newer version that came out in 2015, not the 2011 model. Our photos are of the 2015 model. I'm not quite clear what's different based on OGL's review - they didn't take comparison photos and only have two poor resolution images. Thanks for posting the link though - that is a great review otherwise!

Wonka @Wonka - our specs come directly from Terra Nova's website, and it's checked over by them prior to launching the drop. I'm not seeing where the fly fabric is discussed for either version on the OGL review or the TN website. I do see that the TN website says the model came out in 2011, but it also states that it is Fastpack compabible (which is only true for the 2015 version). DannyMilksThank you for clarification to my question. So, if I hear you correctly, the tent, Massdrop is selling, is their latest edition of the photon 2. If this is so, then I will be placing an order in the next day or so.
