So now that the (estimated) ship date of 12/14/2018 has come and gone for all intents and purposes, what is the new estimate? Massdrop? Terramar? Anybody?

At 6'-6" tall with knuckle-dragger arms, even tall sizes don't fit great most of the time, but there's just no sense in buying regular sized pants or long sleeve shirts. A few months ago, I complained on another Taramar drop that only the top being offered came in tall, so I passed on both because I was looking for a new set of long-johns. Well, apparently someone was actually listening, so even though I've already done all my Winter clothes shopping, I'm in on this drop. I just hope "tall" means the same in American English as it does in China or wherever Teramar clothes are made. I'll settle for (and be happy with) it meaning 75% what it means in English, which history shows is optimistic, but I still feel somewhat of an obligation to buy since I did ask to have a whole set of long-johns in tall. So thanks MD and Teramar. Your efforts didn't go unnoticed.

I will consider the intention of this product favorably. Merino wool expects antibacterial effect and deodorizing effect. Polyester expects quick drying, heat retention and durability. It's a wonderful product that weak each other's weaknesses! However, in that case, I think merino wool is good inside. When I think carefully, I do not know the intention of this product.

matnaoThe previous drop (Terramar Thermawool) had an inner wool layer and polyester on the outside, so there must be a reason other than the lower cost. Some people are sensitive to wool and find it itchy or rough on direct contact with the skin. This might explain why Terramar chose to use polyester for the inner layer on this one.

I bought a pair of terramar bottoms at tjmx for 17$. Only 15% merino yet they call it level 3 extreme cold (haha). They are uber thin and nowhere near as warm as my 100% polys. Also they are the opposite of ‘form fitting ‘. I won’t be buying this brand again.

Merino wool is great and all, but polyester/merino blends are better. 30% is a bit low though...

rj42if you check the fine print, it's not even 30% merino wool. only the exterior is. the inside is all polyester

The price was attractive but 30% Merino is basically nothing and won't be much different than buying the regular poly stuff from like...Under Armour
