Preface : I revisited a keyboard after sitting on the shelf for over a year to slap some new keycaps one and just change it up on my lineup. What I discovered after testing with new caps, that the design of the case actually destroyed itself AND MY PCB!
This is the message I just sent to TEX design. Do NOT buy this hunk of garbage! It WILL destroy your PCB and itself, especially for someone who was using it regularly.
---------------------
Hello TEX,
First Off, never had any issues with your aluminum 60% keyboard cases.
However, I just went back to pull this keyboard from the shelf (also cased BTW) and found this immense damage to the 60% Acrylic case and my Sprit60 PCB.
This keyboard was not frequently moved, but obviously the design was seriously causing stress and bowing that the Acrylic could not handle in your design. I cannot believe this as I honestly did not use this keyboard much, maybe a couple months as my daily keyboard as I have several.

Acrylic 60% Case Damage : all posts except the center are cracked and gone. Unable and not repairable. Screws we're not overly tightened and this Keyboard babied. Never dropped (as seen in pictures) and has no damage to outer case.
Sprit60 PCB Damage : Many Diodes clipped from the PCB. Repairable with new parts and an hour of my time as someone with the tools and skill.
I don't even know if there is anything this company can do to fix this. The design of this keyboard case no only destroyed the case itself, but the PCB of my keyboard as well just from being left alone.
It's really sad as you have such a good reputation and good products that are still in use today by me! This one just sucks, almost everyone has had problems with it even if hardly used.

My support screw by the USB connection snapped in the middle of use. I am a touch typer who does not bottom out and this hasn't left my desk.
Really poor quality on the screw holes, the support should have been much thicker. All TEX did was CNC their aluminum case in acrylic with no accounting for the new material. Otherwise, the quality is fine other than some very light flex.

As a frequent Massdrop customer, this tells me they did not test the product before sale.
Honestly, anyone who has had these problems (of which their appear to be many) should get another sent to them gratis with a fix or at the very least, a fairly discounted price. Defective.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the TEX Acrylic CNC 60% Keyboard Case and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 1/22.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 12/21.

I bought one of these 2 drops ago and was really excited. Until i opened the package and was completely appalled by the quality of the case. The thing is feather weight and will break with a drop. I know from experience because mine is currently on my shelf, broken. It looks great but at the end of the day when you pay $60 you will be disappointed by the quality of the case. It seriously feels like it should cost 20 bucks.

Doesnt need to be shock proof but when your daughter knocks it off on accident it shouldnt break. The acrylic is cheap and nowhere close to worth $60.

RyanElAcrylic is.. well, acrylic aka Plexiglass, Google "properties of Acrylic". Do some research on what you're buying first I guess? That's like complaining that something made of glass is fragile. I would like to see them make something out of Polycarb in the future though (Lexan).
I do agree with you that this is horrendously overpriced

Just be careful with the screw bumps, at the moment I have my 60% only with two screws as the others just broke on me, pretty disappointed.

just like Saru said, when it's not broken it looks great, but I would recommend to spend your money on a better case, just my 0.2 :)
