jphuWell, then you fell into his trap. Typical marketing scheme and quite clever. If you buy the acrylic case, then you helped him and TEX to become their test subjects on this new case material to test the water. If you didn't buy the acrylic case, then he is counting you to buy the aluminum case by saying it is $60 similar to the acrylic case. Total fail for him saying that, straight out lie. And if you don't buy this aluminum case, he is betting you on buying the acrylic case when it comes back. But you have to watch out, they will definitely increase the price on the acrylic case.

bassThey are betting on you remaining loyal to their "community co-op" type thing while making profits and lying to you about prices.
When a normal retailer offers me a fixed price for an item, it is expected. When massdrop lies about prices, and then offers me a fixed price for an item, I wonder why I should order here and wait the extra time, why give them money, and not someone who gets it to me sooner., Someone who doesn't lie about it and treat customers like idiots. I mean why do they even bother with a fixed price item, there is no value in that, and why bother with a join at lowest price option when it is at the lowest price already?
