This keyboard s sweet, but I laughed at "innovative". ThinkPads have had a trackpoint for over 20 years...and it's red, at that!

Monsterpiece42evidently today «innovative» actually means «something you've forgotten existed for years, just got sold to a chineese brand» or something like that =)

Monsterpiece42They probably mean a mechanical keyboard that's not scissor switch with a trackpoint.

KlikitiklakEh, that's bucking spring, not Cherry MX. It's also a full-size, instead of a 60%. My guess is it's also a plastic case, instead of the milled aluminum block the TEX has. Don't get me wrong, I have no use for a keyboard like the TEX, and I think the price is pretty high. But, I'm also not scrutinizing ad copy. It's marketing, man.

KlikitiklakAlso, the EnduroPro so called trackpoint, isn't really a trackpoint. It's more like a small joystick. It does not use the resistive strain gauges technology that real trackpoints use. It moves around... Awful to use.

KlikitiklakNo where near how this one works! I've tried both and I own YODA 1 and YODA 2. TEX's implementation of the TrackPoint is immaculate in my humble opinion (read my other comments).
Nothing against UniComp, I love the legacy Model M keyboards and their style (buckling springs are cool!), in fact I still run one as well in my home-office! (A rare IBM Model M SSK!) However, UniComp aren't exactly the same quality as the good ol' Model M, even though they bought all the rights to the OG IBM Model M, they still don't really produce something near its quality and feel (in my humble opinion of course).
