Picked my pair up today, I can't say I'm disappointed so far. I have to say I agree with jjwfr's opinion on the treble: it's very piercing. This isn't a problem for me with the silicone tips (I'm using the dual flange tips right now, which miraculously actually fit in my ears) but with the foam tips it becomes harsh and almost sibilant. The foam tips are excellent for bass-heavy music, but once you add in vocals it becomes a tradeoff: more powerful bass or not-terrible treble. Not-terrible treble should win here, because the bass is still powerful enough with the silicone tips.
That said, I'd probably also have to agree these aren't good IEMs for bassheads. The bass may be powerful (and they have pretty good range, too—I'm pretty sure they have1 a better bass range than my Westone 30s) but it's not overpowering. They have good bass, but they're not good *for* bass.
Comfort so far is pretty good, although you may want to ask me again once I've tried regular silicone tips. I don't normally use biflange tips since they're almost always too big to fit my ears comfortably, so my opinion here is pretty skewed. I prefer not having the memory wire on the ears, so that's a plus to me (although not to everyone).
The packaging was pretty nice, although a little less impressive on the inside once you realize the insert is just cheap plastic.
Overall I actually quite like these, although I don't see them replacing my Westone 30s any time soon (though that's not surprising since that drop was 3 times the cost of this drop). For the price, these are excellent.
