So… if I want a set of this to change between my 108 key fullsize, white-fox and Filco Majestouch Minila (US ASCII 67) usb… what do I need to get? Is the Filco minila even possible (I guess I will need to give up 1 of the fn key to fit a bigger space-bar)?

MunnybearYou won't be able to just take off the Fn keys to fit the Spacebar, it still wouldn't be enough space for a 6.25u spacebar (1.25x2 + 3 is 5.5u), and the spacing wouldn't be right ... not to mention your Spacebar would hit the Fn keys every time you pressed it. Some people have opted to use a 2.75u key to act as a Spacebar for the Minila, but you'll have a bigger gap around it.
If you do try to fit these to your Minila make sure you check that the rows and sizes will work for your board. It's a lot easier to fit keys to that board if they're uniform profile, but this set is sculpted.

nafs_aspIf i would need that, i would buy 3u SA spacebar at SP: http://pimpmykeyboard.com/sa-spacebars-pack-of-1/ TBN-Brown is given and be happy, going any of the other colors, i would use my RAL "colorpicker", get some paint, simple paintjob, set and done.
But that's just me.

nafs_aspHaha, I am new to the minila, only just got it. What about the space-bar from 40%? Are they the same size? And the erogodox blank keys? Will any of them suffice?
So thinking about my previous question, I will need the base + modifiers + no. Pad + white fox … do I need to pick up 40% or erogodox for the different size modifiers on the minila (e.g. shift key is definitely different size)?
By this point I feel this already cost way more than the minila itself 😂😂
Edit: actually… I just did the maths, this will end up costing even more than the white fox… very expensive.

MunnybearIf you want to "Customize" your keyboard with certain coloured Key-caps, you are clean out of luck.
Minila is the absolute WORST at finding any number of keys to fit. For myself, I stopped buying weird layouts years ago due to this very reason because in the end, if I want to look down on a keyboard and see a Perfect Colour-way installed and working perfectly, stick to ONLY the TKL and 104 key layouts and you will never be disappointed in that decision.
The Milila is only good if you FORGET about fitting any customized key-caps, much like the dreaded HHKB monstrosity and the pain those suffer, with non-compliant key-cap layouts.

MunnybearYou'll need to pick up a 3u space bar from SP, but they do have one in TBN right now which matches the modifier color. Unfortunately, the 40% kit has a 1.75u shift key and you need a 2u shift. I think I've mostly seen 2u shifts in 40% kits, so I'm not sure why it's different in this set. If it was 2u you'd be able to match every key to your minila except the space bar which you'd have to purchase separately. Actually, I think I'm going to buy a 3u TBN space bar myself in case I want to put my Retro SA set on my minila.

SP is Signature Plastics.
TBN is a color code - for one of Signature Plastics ABS colors.
