I'm disappointe. Can't seem to get a good spin period. Mine is copper and isn't well balanced. I dont recommend it at all.

I don't see the problem with how the Top came out in the end. Altough my version (copper) may differ from your version. It spins the 3 minutes easily (try something flat and smooth) and after 20 trys I also can bring it to spin atleast every 2nd time. But it defnitely isn't as wide as the pictures suggested. I still like mine.

Ok, I also was very excited about this top as all I've heard is great thing about JL. I thougth it was only me who was having problems I even went and purchased a concave lens. When I can get it to spin it goes no longer than 3 min top.

I've purchased a couple tops, the basic coin spinner, two teetotums, a handkerchief, etc., from JLL & Co. This is the first disappointing item. I cannot recommend it and suggest the creator warn of the difficulty in spinning this item in the description.
It is tricky to spin (1 in 5 spins) on a flat glass surface and very difficult (1 in 10) on a concave mirror. The difficulty seems to be a combination of small size, near-pinpoint tip, low clearance at the weighted base, and narrow weight distribution. I will not ask for a refund: The item is as displayed, solid and aesthetically on point.

I was very excited about my 1st Lawson top. Very disappointed. Definitely not the top in the video. I would like a refund.

+1 to everything Turk 182 and Enekk have written about the difficulty of getting this top to spin, though I'm not sure I even get it to do so 1 in 25 times. A very disappointing purchase.

The top I received is not the one pictured. It looks thinner and taller than the photos and it doesn't weigh 19g as in the description but 24.1g. Out of all the tops I own this is the most difficult to spin. VERY hard to get it to spin on its tip!

Maybe it is just me, but I cannot see how the size of that tip is as intended. Even the slightest of tilt during spin causes it to spin on its side.
