So I was looking around to compare prices, this does seem to save you a bit of money, but I found that if this is indeed the 3rd edition, they have replaced the plot cards of the second edition with the Inquisitor cards from the Hostile Intent expansion. I just wanted to confirm if this was the case?

ThePanSeveral of the players are designated as "spies", the rest as "resistance". The spies know who the other spies are, the resistance do not.
There are five rounds. In each round, leaders chosen in succession nominate teams until one is approved by a majority of players. A team with all resistance will always pass a mission, but a spy can choose to (or choose not to, for deception reasons) fail it. The goal of the spies is to fail three missions, the goal of the resistance is to pass three missions.
Like the mafia in Mafia, the spies are always trying to convince the resistance that they are in fact resistance.

Is this the previous version of the game? IB&C recently released an updated version, and the artwork shown here on Massdrop is of the previous version.

edman2020I don't know which version of the game it is, but the game was previously dropped seven months ago so it's probably just the same images either way.

The vendor has confirmed that this drop is for the updated version of the base game(3rd edition) that has new artwork, and our photos were previously of the 2nd edition. I have just updated the photos to reflect the change. The Hidden Agenda and Hostile Intent expansions are still included and the price has not changed. If you wanted the second edition, you can cancel your order before the drop goes down and you won't be charged. Thanks for flagging this!

I want this! But I can buy the entire bundle at Amazon for $34.XX, if this meets the goal it drops to $31.99/shipped. Sorry, not enough saving to make me jump on this drop... Great game though!

AberrixI'm getting $44.88 from Amazon for the base game plus the two expansions. This seems like a good deal to me unless I'm missing something. I could very well be wrong though.
