donutholerTry a company called Hide and Drink. Full grain leather, perfect stitching, and a good story about the craftsmen in Guatemala.$30 or less. They also sell on Amazon.

Are the slots wide enough to hold watches?

eltoo38I don't have one yet, been thinking about it to hold watches and so far I don't believe it will. Since there's a lack of dimensions of the compartments, I've seen a photo online where you could put in about 3 Kaweco Classic pens in one slot with some room to spare. Each Kaweco is 11mm in diameter, so that puts the slot size likely below 40mm. Unless your watch collections are all less than 35mm, I doubt it will fit. And it if will, it will likely be very tight.
That large slot on the left is the only one that has a chance of fitting a watch. But bad news as well, I've see a Rakuten listing for a used roll, and this one shows that inside that large compartment has a metal stud used to attach the strap to the roll. So I wouldn't want to put a watch in there unless it's wrapped in another material. But that beats the purpose of this roll.

Got this one off Etsy for 65 bucks shipped and with my initials. Custom made. The price of this one doesn’t make sense to me.

No link but the shop is called ZETAleathergoods. Zeta has made a few custom things for me. You can message her and she will ask you whatever info she needs to make the item. I just told her how many slots I wanted and sent me a payment link.

These look like they are wonderful and tick almost all the "boxes:" soft leather, nice hardware - not just snap hardware, big enough for just about any pen. However, no individual pen sleeves! I'd rather carry less pens and keep them in excellent condition than scratch them all. Yes, the "classic" pen roll in Japan is really today's pencil/waterbrush/paintbrush roll. Many of the quality pen rolls like Nagasawa offer individual pockets and even a business card, notepad or cell phone pocket. Folks, I believe you would get more orders if you just simply added more stitching :)

Received my pen roll. The quality is fantastic but I was sent the wrong color. I ordered one in light brown but I was sent dark brown. Just something to be aware of if this drop is offered again.

The light brown is the only one I want and it sold out so quickly. Hope there will be another drop.

These retail at a well-known California shop at $110, which is the typical U.S. source to get these. Not much of a drop, Massdrop.

GaryVIf you're overseas can you purchase these easily? What about just across the US? You have to keep in mind people that are less fortunate than you on this site, I've found that out.
