Is the connector a micro or mini USB one? I would assume a micro USB one, right?

pandaaqqEarlier matteo did confirm that it is indeed micro USB. File this under "things that should have been on the description page".

I have multiple keyboards and they are all mini usb. You will find that a very large portion of mech keyboards are mini.

AkromafireI agree that most mechanical keyboards are mini-USB; however, Micro is a superior connector. Mini-USB has a design flaw that can lead to early connector failures. http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/18552/why-was-mini-usb-deprecated-in-favor-of-micro-usb

AuwriiiI am not arguing that at all. My comment was in response to n0vaga5 saying they had not seen a keyboard that wasn't micro.

matt3oYou should probably specify which type of Micro USB it is, as there is an A and a B series for each form factor. Granted, for most people "Micro USB" is taken to colloquially refer to the "Micro-B" connector, probably just because it is far more common than "Micro-A."
I do feel like the decision to use a micro connector on this board is more of an inconvenience than a benefit (at least for people with multiple keyboards), since I'll have to swap out my Mini-B cable whenever I want to use the Whitefox. The micro connector's improvement in max insertions seems mostly irrelevant here as well, considering that a keyboard isn't something you'll be unplugging and plugging in very often. But, if it does hold up better long-term, I guess that's sensible.
