Is this keyboard really that good? USD $270 bucks for something that comes as a kit... ($255 assembled different switches)*. Plus in this country I will have to pay customs for this (as I paid before) around USD $25
Probably I do not see the advantages (and will regret later) but what are your main reasons to get this board? (be honest if it is just for the looks :)
Compared to e.g. a HHKB Professional 2 is this keyboard better?
* Using the "top" prices.

atari.super.nesAsk yourself do you want this keyboard, pretty sure you don't "need" it. The price is pretty reasonable for a fully customisable keyboard of its kind. There are cheaper full sized kb for less than this price. Bang for the bucks, right?
HHKB Pro 2 is cheaper and you will save more money in the future too, because most keycap set will not fit it without modding it. Also weight lighter than whitefox, a plus if you travel.
Whitefox is more a niche kb tbh. If you want it and can afford it, get it. I enjoyed mine so far, many other buyers too. However, keep in mind there are a handful of buyers who have not received their order from last groupbuy to this date. Be prepare to wait.

krisstOf course you DON'T need this Keyboard but when you're buying for OTHERS then you have to choose what THEY want.
Numerous times have had to cancel some orders and then re-order again all because THEY have changed their little minds. Hate buying for kids, they change their minds far more than Pregnant Women ( sorry but it's true ).

krisstThank you for your answer!
Something to consider... and I will.
Still I am between the HHKB P2 and this one and it is my understanding that the "true fox" layout have 3-5 not-so-common keycaps, this layout will be difficult to mood too and getting the "jack of all trades" seems to defeat one of the main designs behind this board.
I not yet grasp entirely the convenience of a "fully" programable keyboard, just recently I got a KBParadise V60 mini which I like a lot and did change only few DIP switches to accommodate my needs but have not touched the layouts yesterday I got a KC60 and I still need to check its programable features, so in time I will see/read the advantages I guess.

atari.super.nesThe thing about fully programmable you need to know is you can pretty much remap the whole keyboard layout. Example below.

You mentioned HHKB, so I tried to add some of the functions to the truefox layout. Notice the Capslock key have been replaced with Left Control key. You can change it to your liking. HHKB comes with dip switch too, which only allow you to choose a certain pre-configured key options.
Hope this helps you understand more.
