After going through a roller coaster of (seemingly) endless delays of the first batch of this drop, I feel obligated to let everyone know that the WhiteFox is worth the wait. As someone who spends 10+ hours a day at the keyboard, I consider investing in a quality board a common sense decision (and can't believe more people don't do the same).
I previously used a Das Keyboard 4 for several years which had brown switches and stock blank caps (recommended for anyone looking to increase their touch typing speed). I was accustomed to heavy use of the F-keys and numpad due to the nature of my work. The board, however, took up too much space on my desk and I wanted to streamline / customize my key layout.
Enter the WhiteFox (TrueFox layout w/ MX Blues). It has been a dream come true, and after a few months of use I have retrained myself to fly around the new layout using a couple well-placed function layers which have replaced the F-keys and numpad. The only thing I haven't done, and would love feedback from anyone who knows how, is to customize a keystroke to enter an entire string of text (like my email or password).
My one word of warning for all you potential TrueFoxers out there... having the backspace above the Enter key is lovely and more efficient, but after a few months you will look/feel like a fool when you go to type on anyone else's keyboard and enter a bunch of slashes when trying to backspace - so just be prepared for that.
TLDR; WhiteFox = Good Decision

VigrithIt came within 5 miles of my house Saturday. I thought it might get to the post office and i could go pick it up but the last notification was from a simi close post office on the way to mine at 430 pm. They should get it to me Monday.

VigrithThe keyboard showed up! Missing the Any key though (you can see it in other people's pics here https://www.massdrop.com/buy/the-whitefox-keyboard/talk/476729). Won't stop me from putting the keyboard together and using it but after this many delays and waiting I would have thought they would have sent me everything.

JerrionGlad to hear you've got finally at least! That is a little disconcerting though regarding the Any key, I understand a couple lapses with a key here and there for the packages that got sent over on time but with so many delays I would've thought they'd have had the time to double check the "second batch".
Here's hoping the second round doesn't go through as many technical difficulties as the first one did.

VigrithI just emailed Yanbo Wu. So far as I can tell the keycap is the only thing missing. Picture of all the caps that it came with. Notice the missing slot beside the ISO enter key.

JerrionGood luck with that. I've had a support ticket open for mine for months. It's been two months since I've heard anything from support. Started out ok and I was told they would address my issue but it could take a few weeks.....been two months now and I've sent multiple emails with no response. Just hoping for an update and getting frustrated.

SoManyMechsIf you have all the documentation do a charge back. Not receiving the product you paid for and following the proper channels to try to resolve it without a satisfactory solution is exactly what chargebacks are for. Provide your CC company with all the info on the product and your steps for resolving the issue. They should have no problem doing a refund for you.
I thought for sure that after waiting 8 months and being in the last 1% of people to receive their keyboard they would not fuck up my order. I also have a simi large scratch right where the engraving is and the lanyard for the keychain that they sent me for taking so long fell off the keychain the first time I put it in my pocket. As much as this keyboard costs there should not be scratches on the aluminum but at this point I dont wanna deal with support taking months to get me a new plate and it is a cosmetic issue.

JerrionI have same trouble with you, and my keycap was not same colour together, the Left shift is looked older than the others, the "R" keycap was not soldered with LED, and my Whitefox has a lightly scratch on the plate. I'm very disappointed with the quality of Massdrop.

HoangI with Massdrop had a way for us to keep track of our tickets. I've opened 2 tickets for my missing key so far and they keep closing them. I have still not received them (they are supposed to arrive at MD this week), and I don't actually get any updates from MD. I'll probably open another one if I have not heard anything from them by the end of this week.

Oatmeal138Technically I've had the board for a couple months now, but its not real usable. The usb opening in my case is too high so I put an O ring in that corner between the plate and the case so I can plug in the cable. I can use it but if I press the keys on that side too hard it puts pressure on the cable/connector and the keyboard disconnects. Waiting on a replacement case, guessing they are stalling for round two parts to come in to address the round 1 issues.
Poor support communication is the real problem I have with this. I was told it would take a couple weeks and then my emails asking for an update were ignored for two months until I opened a new support ticket.

SoManyMechsDon't get me wrong the keyboard is beautiful but this long of wait, poor support and post sale service with vendors that seem to be particularly incompetent with their timelines make me not want to do business with them. Especially when they have your money already. Good luck and I hope your issue will be addressed soon. For me I rather just pay the premium and hope it is available at Amazon and have better return policy.

SoManyMechsThis is really unacceptable in so many ways. I joined for the second round with serious reservations, but I'm hopeful the issues from the first round were worked out. However, those that joined the first drop and have experienced issues should not be ignored. I'd say a number of the lingering issues from the first drop really call for the item to be shipped back and a credit card charge back issued.
