I was a part of the last drop for this. I got the pad and tried it out in my living room; all seemed well. When I went to take it on a recent trip to Utah, however, it kept deflating overnight. I would wake up every 3ish hours to have to reinflate it. I could see that happening over time, but not for my very first times using it. I was careful not to set up camp over anything sharp, and it happened the very first night, when I slept on snow, so I'm certain it came with a micropuncture.
Is there anyone from Therm-a-Rest in this discussion, or should I just reach out to them and see what they say? I feel like I got a defective unit.
When it's inflated, this is the best pad I've ever owned.

charliegContact Thermarest to get an RMA. I had the same symptoms on a XLite pad (about four years ago); brand new, wouldn't hold air overnight. They sent me a new one in a few days, no questions asked. I did have to send back the old one, no big deal.
Thermarest stands behind their products. And I should also point out that this was a brand new, never used outdoors, pad. The takeaway here is to inflate the XLites and let them sit overnight --they should not loose that much air--to make sure you didn't get a lemon.

charliegthat's too bad. I developed a leak after having mine for over 4 years. I found the leak in it by dunking it in the bathtub and holding it down, waiting, listening, watching. It was a very tiny pin hole and I was able to patch it with the patch kit that is included and I haven't had a problem since.

Frank_GearyYes, definitely contact Therm-a-Rest for a replacement. They have very good customer service and stand by their products. When I first got my Xtherm I inflated it, covered it evenly in books to simulate me sleeping on it, and left it for a few days to confirm it had zero holes, since now and then it seems there are manufacturing/packaging errors.
