This thing is worth like $50
Lol "Blues engineered for gaming". Blue's are the least gaming-oriented switches and these are some of the cheapest blues knockoffs.
you can literally buy the RGB versions at best buy im not surprised that no one has jumped on it. i have this same keyboard and i got it for cheaper a my local best buy lol!
From what I've read, these aren't RGB LEDs. I'll stick with my current Poseidon.
Wow, there are literally no purchases on this? What happened? Are there faulty switches or something?

At $99.99 it's a hard sell due to no RGB and it comes with "TT eSports Certified Mechanical Blue Switch" *cough* *cough* *Marketing* *clones*. The smartbar will not sell this keyboard. There are much better offerings at this price range, at $99.99 and you're using clone switches you better be packing RGB with better features otherwise you can forget about this drop ever being successful. The only Thermaltake keyboard that was actually worth buying was the Poseidon as it actually uses Genuine Cherry MX Blue switches and at that the $69.99 pricing it is difficult to beat as it's already difficult enough to buy a Genuine Cherry MX keyboard under $100.
E-Element RGB Keyboard @ $79.99 currently be dropped https://www.massdrop.com/buy/e-element-rgb-keyboard
I will not be surprised if there are zero buyers.
Can I disable the backlighting?

Yes, they have buttons to dim the lights or turn them off completely. However, do take heed of what lynns has said. The buttons will die on you and in my case they are double registering. They have a 5 year warranty but they make you pay for shipping the product out or something similar to that nature, please don't quote me on that.
I am intrigued by the capacitive spacebar... 5 zones, so not a touchpad type of sensor setup but for swipes registers multiple zones?
Owned one of these, keys died within a year...not worth the money.

Same here. Space bar, Z and I have all crapped out with more keys offing themselves every time I use it.
With this Thermaltake Poseidon Z Touch Mechanical Keyboard, I too, will become 1337 gaymer.
I love how the switches are marketed as "TT Esports extra special blues for extra 3l33t g4m3rs", and even in the picture the switches clearly say "kailh". They aren't even trying anymore.

Contrast with their first offering, the $150 MSRP (originally) Meka G1, which proudly said Cherry MX Blacks and was Costar built. Easily the cheapest junk keycaps ever, but the bones are rock solid. I still use mine.

I remember this keyboard was built with Cherry sometime earlier. It's reasonable to replace them with Kailh to save cost... yeah but indeed, at least remove the Kailh picture. Nothing about the quality of Kailh switches, it is their attitude that made this keyboard underrated. For it's price, the keyboard itself is actually not that bad.
