At this point might as well pay the few extra bucks for the f800pro that massdrop had recently or at Amazon right now

My camera died after a year. Thinkware says to contact Massdrop. Massdrop says their window to report an issue is 30 days. Unless you have a need to waste $300 do your shopping elsewhere.

@kstokley a question if I may - what's Massdrop's warranty arrangements on these? Particularly for overseas buyers - it's an attractive price for the full kit, but I'm worried about what happensd if something is faulty / goes wrong in 11 months time, etc.
I noted @KingMorde 's comment above, which points the responsibility for warranty at the retailer (Massdrop) and also the Thinkware site isn't particularly helpful with further warranty info.

Still scratching my head about how I can make use of the rear camera when they supplied a 0.5m long male-to-male micro usb cable...

SaiHayashiWas the rear infrared camera supposed to ship with the 20ft long cable? How are we supposed to mount it in the rear? Looks like I got an interior camera, not a rear camera?

Why doesn't this drop have a Commit option? What happens if I join and the drop doesn't reach the 10 needed?

quaker4lyfNothing. It would get cancelled. Commit is only used when there are multiple price levels and you only want to go in if it reaches the lowest level.

It doesn't matter because you would need proof of purchase like a receipt or invoice to prove you bought it from Best Buy. At least that has been my experience with every RMA process I have ever done.

Can anyone confirm that the rear camera USB cable (in this drop) has a right angled connector on one end. Otherwise, the port cover on the front camera won't close. (Not a big deal, but still nice)

OneLoveThose ordering the regular rear camera will have a right angle tip connector so the port cover clsoes properly. Those ordering the infrared rear camera will have a straight tip connector.

If you guys go to blackboxmycar they have bundle going on for $449 which includes a 128gb card. Go save money, a better deal and faster shipping time.

tim-wong+1 Tim, Thank you, it seems like the difference between buying one here is saving like $30 before shipping vs. buying thru BlackBoxMyCar that offer their support. I'd rather pay the $30 for support
