Hi do these have YKK zippers? The previous answer stated it would be up to the vendor. For this price, it should have the best zipper :)

Why is this so f***ing expensive? What makes it worth the premium price? It's neat, but even at a sale price of $80 it seems far overpriced. Am I just being cheap?

Received my Fieldworks rollup this week. Waxed green canvas We'll see how the stitching holds. So far happy with it. May not be quite as high quality or as multi-functional as the rollup in this drop, but for 1/3 the price.....

Does someone know/has an idea which notebook would fit perfectly to the rollup? Because a A5 notebook won't fit.

I received this as a gift from the last time Massdrop offered it. And as nicely made as it is, it is pretty much a bust for me. Altho they show it rolled, I'm betting that picture was taken EMPTY. If you fill it as shown, it doesn't rollup - it folds sort of in three places.If you are mainly a fountain pen user, the pen/pencil slots are wasted, as they are so small as to fit only the thinnest implements - surely not many fountain pens. If you put a field notes size notebook in the zipper part, then it really doesnt fold well. ADD to that, the delay for the last drop was GINORMOUS... it almost didnt make it in time for Christmas. This item should come with a video that shows plainly how the manufacturer suggests it be used/folded. NOTREADYFORPRIMETIME.

After a minor delay, the group's bulk order landed at our warehouse in New Jersey and our team has been hard at work breaking down the shipment into the individual packages. As soon as everything is prepared for shipment and packages are picked up by the courier we will be sure to let the group know right away!

johngouldrubinSo how long do we give them? I've done a lot of business with MassDrop, but this lack of communication has me baffled. I've requested updates and I get a canned reply telling me they're experiencing a high amount of requests. Makes me wonder if other buyers are having the same problems with other drops.

The order has been further delayed due to a late trailer delivery brought on by high holiday volume. We currently expect the units to be delivered early next week. We will make sure to update the group once units begin to ship.
