If you're on the fence about it, don't buy it. The top loop is too small to fit a real eraser, the inside loops barely fit mid-size pens and pencils, and it's not super protective. It does look and feel nice, and it holds 3 pens just fine. 4 is a pipe dream unless they're very skinny.

generally a nice product that I enjoy using. However the pen loops are certainly not generously sized, although as I only carry a lamy 2000 fountain pen and matching pencil that’s ok for me. Once again the customs charges - and the wholly disproportionate ‘handling charge’ that comes with it makes this far more expensive than it first appears when buying from the UK. Not a massdrop issue I suppose, but certainly one that means I’m unlikely to use massdrop in the future.

I purchased two of these (one French Blue and one Toffee) and they are quite well made. The leather is soft, high quality and, unlike more porous leathers like the Allegory cases is less prone to staining from ink, etc. The design is wonderful, except for one thing many vendors overlook - metal parts from pens or higher end pencils like the Rotring 600 will rub and scratch. This would have been easily handled with a piece of separator leather between halves of the case. As it is pictured, your nice Rotring most likely won't get scratched from the wooden Blackwing pencils; however, replace those with metal on both sides and you'll get unnecessary wear. For this reason, I only use one side of the case. The eraser holder is a great design. The metal zippers are extremely high quality by Mas Italia, a vendor of custom italian zippers. I was going to deduct a star for the design flaw, but the high quality features outweigh this.
