david_abadiaNot sure what the purpose of your post is. Thonet and Vander has been in the US market for over 3 years. The original company is over 40 years old. Are you saying that since JBL and Harman Kardon are now korean and manufactured in China and philippines they are no good. Even Apple does not manufacture one product outside of china.
I own one of this brands Titan and it blows away anything else I have heard.
Not understanding what the attack is on Argentina. Are you a bigot and against Spanish people. What nationality are you? Maybe you should return to wherever your home country is.

Gadgets53The purpose of my post is to let the community know the true about the company, and the fact that is a brand from Argentina and has never been from Germany. This company started in Argentina buying Speakers from China and giving them their fancy name and logo, packing them to sell it in South America. This is called Rebrand, which is very different from having the production in China, like the examples you give me. They have done quite well, and have increased their sales to Spain and the USA. I dont know where do you get that is over 40 years old, can you let us know?
why everyone has to turn things into something personal when they feel hurt by alluded?
So I let you know that I am from Colombia and I live in Colombia, so I know something more about this company than the people in the USA, and about 7 years ago the company's website only had two sections Argentina and Germany, where the section of Germany was so poor that few would cheat. At that time if you were looking for the brand in web pages of Europe there was not even any information, it was all in Spanish, and from Latin websites. Even now if you enter the page in the section in German you will notice how everything is outdated. here the link: https://thonet-vander.com/de/
and I am not saying that they are bad products, since I had one about 10 years ago, and they also seemed very good, but I sold it, when I realized the farce of the company, since I do not like being cheated.
and that's also why I let the community know this

david_abadiaI have read a lot about the Company. And I personally know the two engineers that were hired 3 years ago when the US company was formed I can say that the current products are not a rebrand. I have worked for companies such as Samsung, Sanyo and TPV who rebranded their products for companies such as IBM, Vizio, Sony, B&O. These companies have many products in their line up that are just a rebrand. Yes the current products at least for the last 3 years have been a full design in the US with the assistance of one engineer that was added in November of last year. The HiRes lineup which the Kugel is the entry was a thonet and Vander total design but yes manufactured in China. Many DJs,and home studios have adopted our HiRes line. I have a Titan and the product is amazing

Gadgets53Yet they are described as German engineered...
Also, your automatic jump to racism and assumption of an attack on a people is sad.

DELIMITI did that after the writer critizied Argentina and china. By no means to I have any prejudice. I was just defending many who are not part of this community. My deepest apology if I offended you or anyone else

Gadgets53He did no such thing. He simply suggested that these aren't "German Engineered" as described. In what way is that an attack on Argentina or China? You suggested that everything in the last 3 years was designed in the US, are you attacking the USA? Why are you so against freedom? (See how rediculous that sounds?)

DELIMITAgain ... I am very sorry. I have been trying ti build a brand in the right way, I do get very defensive, The last 3 years were truly great for the brand. I thank you for your candidness

Gadgets53yes that's exactly my point: in the description said "German Enginered" and if you are really part of the brand you should be able to change that to "U.S. Desing" because you and the brand keep cheating the hole community.

david_abadiaI take your comment as a personal insult. I guess you have nothing better to do. I won't publish what I think of you. Now you are calling us cheaters - you are an absolute a_____________e

Gadgets53well maybe you can tell me the right word to use when a description from a product said "German Enginered" and the true is that they are desing in the U.S. and manufacture in china. because for me that is cheating, just as the dictionary describes it: act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage. but well I give you the chance, to tell me the right word, and I can change it, so you don't feel insulted...
Gadgets53'Even Apple does not manufacture one product outside of china.' Looks at Mac Pro 'Made in USA'.

Conscious of the positive association between foreign brands and product quality that exists in the minds of Chinese consumers, many domestic companies are creating brand names that sound foreign in order to appeal to their target consumers. A large number of Chinese companies that use this naming strategy operate in the fashion, real estate, and household goods industries. Below is a list of some of the most popular brands in the market for the above-mentioned industries.
