As a shout-out to Weinbrenner’s roots, every pair of Mondovis in the Thorogood 1892 line is made in the traditional way. Not only are they Goodyear welted, allowing them to be resoled ad infinitum, they’re also made with Chromexcel leather from American-heritage brand Horween Leather Company. Built on the company’s No. 60 last—a classic silhouette that offers a roomy toe box—they feature a polyurethane outsole from Meramec. Inspired by a state of rich soils, abundant water, and pristine pastureland, these boots are as rugged and resilient as the Wisconsin farm town they’re named for.
