After having a successful campaign on Kickstarter, Ti2 Design is offering an exclusive deal on the Ti2 Pen that was only offered to "Early Bird" Backers. The Ti2 pen is composed of five CNC turned parts: tail, body, front, tip and cap. The dual threaded front threads into the tube and the other side accepts any HI-TEC-C Refill (0.5mm included).
Note: There are only 150 units available for this drop.
The pen body is made out of Grade 2 titanium because of its resistance to corrosion, natural color hue, weight and amazing strength characteristics (highest strength to weight ratio of any metal).
The four black o-rings provide a slight tension to retain the cap and a wonderful tactile feel.
"The very first thing that stood out when I unpackaged the Ti2 is how perfect the weight and balance felt. You feel like you are holding a strong and durable pen but it is not as heavy as you think it might be." - Brad Dowdy
For an additional $10, clips are available for the Ti2 pen body and can be added during the checkout process. These are CNC water jetted out of Grade 5 (6Al4V) Titanium, bent on a custom bending jig and hand brushed. Ti2 Pen uses Grade 5 for its "springy" characteristic (high elastic modulus). The clips can be used on either tip or tail. Check out the Ti2 Pen Kickstarter campaign here.
