Not long after using it, the slide starts to get easily loosen. Again, a Timberland product sells brand, not quality. Not recommended. First complaint of my around 10 purchasesof MD. Don't sell it again.
If you need a new buckle, this is probably not the drop for you.
I received mine today -- Already had two issues with the buckle 1) It came off entirely when I got out of the car this morning. 2) The tighten/loosen slide-thing fell out of the buckle later in the day.
Both relatively easy to fix, but goddamn. First day. Not a good impression. Definitely not a good buy for me, as I have to find a better buckle anyway - which was the reason I bought this: I needed a new buckle.

Yeah you're not wrong.

Return 'em! MD doesn't want any disappointed customers. Neither does the vendor if he/she wants to sell more stuff on MD. I've never had a problem.
Years ago, when these belts were enjoying their umpteenth resurrection, a few crafty shorts and trouser manufacturers hit upon the idea of including the belt for free with their bottoms (shorts or pants). Of course that meant the belts supplied had to be dirt cheap. The fad passed, but the belts (and the cheesy webbing) remain. What you're paying (way too much) for here is the buckle (only ONE) and the packaging. That being said, my guess is these were once offered as impulse X-mas gift/stocking stuffers at the counter in Timberland stores. I doubt they sold for $19, and as a matter of fact, I doubt they sold period! Hence their resurrection here ;- )
Thanks all for the warning posts. You just saved me some $19 and an awful lot of irritation. Shoot, I'm already annoyed and I didn't even get burned by this bait and switch. Needless to say, I'll be far more cautious of MDs descriptions from now on.
Yeah this was garbage. Who the hell wants to change the buckle all the time. On top of that, its not even a good buckle. Very disappointing.
Thanks for all the discussion im not buying with just single buckle.
I bought this in the last drop and felt a bit p!ssed that there was only one buckle and two straps. It turns out this is a very cheap imitation of a former military classic. Shame on you Timberland, my trousers keep falling down.
At least MD quietly added "1 buckle" to the "Included" section this time around, despite repeated insistence that it did not need to be changed. Now if they changed the title to "Timberland Belt 2-in-1 Pack" and rewrote "Each one features a gold plaque buckle..." I can die a happy man, looking handsome in my beautiful wheat-colored belt.
The discussion complaints about the copy and what it implies you are getting are absolutely right. Why don't (won't?) they just change the description? Not doing so is just stupid.
Feel bad for those of you who thought you were getting 2 complete belts. I didn't expect to receive 2 buckles, but I can see how you could have.
This was Massdrop's last reply after a couple back-and-forths:
The drop page states that it is a 2 pack that included one buckle. Each picture also shows two belts that only include one buckle, I am unable to offer a return for a refund because this drop is is as advertised.
The first sentence is false. They aren't reading the description (I even pointed out which specific sentences were wrong). And I said I didn't expect a refund at this point, I just hoped they would acknowledge the issue and tighten up the copy in the future. So I assume they didn't read my email closely either.
My time is worth a lot more than this belt so I'm done.
@awk Fail indeed.
"2-Pack" is inaccurate at best, "Each one features..." is just plain wrong.

Even the sticker on the package would have been less deceiving it used: "2 in 1 Web Belt Pack"... We should get a 1/2 discount for this MD?!

I sent an email explaining that "2-in-1" means 1, and that if I have a watch with 6 different straps, I don't have 6 watches...it's still just the 1 watch. I'm only getting canned answers/denials.
I don't think they're interested in returns due to their descriptions being wrong. The money would come out of their pocket, instead of the manufacturer.
@awk Yeah, I thought so too. Now I have to undone one after another just to wear it with different outfit, bummer. I think massdrop should be more specific about this sort of stuff.
> Just take these belts: simple, comfortable, and lightweight. [...] Each one features a gold plaque buckle that bears Timberland’s signature tree logo.
Description fail... you only get one buckle. The box is labeled "2-in-1 web belt pack". This is essentially a single belt that can be configured in two different colors. If you look closely at the drop pictures you can see there is in fact only ONE buckle, but I didn't notice this detail. I thought I would get two complete belts. So did the person who wrote the copy, apparently.

I have a 48 inch waste, do you have them in that Length
btuff55000
Don't know why you're asking me, but the belt in this drop fits up to size 42.
How does this compare to ACU belts?
If there was an option WITHOUT the wheat colour I would go for it, but I don't think I would ever wear something that particular shade. If it was a straight khaki maybe, but that's way way to yellow. Black and Olive would be my choice.
Vendor: Yo Massdrop, we got a warehouse full of "wheat" colored belts here.... Massdrop: Say no more fam.
Without a length specification, the deal is worthless to me.

hi there!
the belt is a 'one size fits most' between sizes 32-42. it's a 'cut-to-fit' belt that you can customize to fit your waist how you'd like. the exact length of the belt is 48 inches.
"One size fits most" - does that mean the tall fat skinny little person will find unsupporting? One standard deviation from the mean and you're going to be left either way to long or way to short but always screwed! Even a v-belt is sold knowing the length. Sure give the width and screw who it might fit. Massdrop seems to be always missing important product details - poor editing staff or they really don't know or understand the product.

hi there! I work for the brand :)
the belt is a 'one size fits most' between sizes 32-42. it's a 'cut-to-fit' belt that you can customize to fit your waist how you'd like. although it's not shown in the images, on the back side of the belt there are instructions to guide you on where to cut the belt to your size. the exact length of the web belt (before being cut) is 48 inches.

I have to have a belt that is 48 inches do you have that Length
Personal opinion from dealing with this design/style belt in the military: This is the worst possible belt type. Do yourself a favor and get a different belt.

Wore belts like this for years as part of my uniform, I've never had any issues at all. The finer degree of adjustment I always found pretty good.
Agreed, that would be good to know!
What is the length of the belt?

It's a secret. Sizing isn't a MD specialty. I pass unless they are clear.

hi there!
the exact length of the belt is 48 inches. however, the belt is a 'cut-to-fit' belt where you can customize the belt by cutting it to fit your waist. on the back side of the belt, there are instructions to guide you on how to do so!
