Timex Weekender Chrono Quartz Watch

After not purchasing a Timex watch for decades (since childhood, when I seemed to go through one every few months) I figured that I would give them another try as I was in need of a timepiece that few others have ever produced...an analogue wristwatch with a working digital compass (The only others that I know of are Maratac, which is no longer produced and very difficult to procure; and Tissot, which is very costly and has been known to have quality issues). The Timex Adventure Series seemed to fit the bill at a reasonable price, however I soon discovered that the watch had stopped running and the crown was completely absent. I contacted CS and they informed me that it was under warranty and would send a replacement. Months after sending mine in I finally received the replacement and a bill for the repair...the replacement watch will be going up for sale and will be my last experience with a Timex! My suggestion is to stick with trusted brands like Seiko, Citizen, Orient, Bulova, et cetera.
