I've actually had some decent Timex watches in the past despite their Chinese origin of recent times. These watches completely disappointed. Both have the Chronograph second hand start somewhere between 4 and 6 seconds instead of 00 as it should. I've had other Chronographs do this after battery replacements done DECADES after the watch's use, so to see this in a brand new watch is absolutely appalling. What a mistake. What a waste of money on a Chinese made piece of crap. Never again Timex. Never again Massdrop. What a joke.

jonnyGURUHey @jonnyGURU, sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience. What you've described is actually pretty common for quartz chronograph movements. Here's an excerpt from the Timex manual which shows you how to reset the chrono hands if they are misaligned:
To adjust chronograph hands: 1. PULL crown out to “B” position. 2. PRESS pusher “B” until the hand at the 10 o’clock eye resets to the “30” position. 3. PULL crown out to “C” position. 4. PRESS pusher “A” until the chronograph second hand resets to the “0” or “60” or 12-hour position. 5. PRESS pusher “B” until the hand at the 2 o’clock eye resets to the “0” position. 6. PUSH in Crown to “A” position. NOTE: • Make sure the chronograph is stopped and reset before adjusting. • PRESSING and HOLDING either pusher “A” or "B" for 2 seconds will cause the hands to move continuously until the pusher is released.

ChristopherJ@ChristopherJ Also just so you know the movement listed in the description is the W-92 but the info manual that comes with the watch lists it as the W-91. Not sure what is up with that.
jonnyGURUThis level of ranting over a cheap quartz watch? I'd love to see your reaction over something legitimate. Hilarious that it's also easily corrected.
