sfHubertcumberdaleDon't be dumb, a tariff is a tax, the only way it could cause a delay is if the tax was not paid. The US loses billions to china in poor trade deals, what our government is doing to fix it is a good thing.

Sager_75Not trying to bring politics into this but just look at the reason given to my question below. “We will ship your orders directly from China this week because the previous items are still in the process of custom clearance.

Usually there's no extra customs fee. It may due to the different custom policy.

We are sorry that the waiting for a long time. We also did not expect this delay because of the custom clearance”. It sure seems to me that they did not believe the tariff would apply to them, but the gov believes differently. So if it is a good thing, then remember that if you start giving Lillian and co. A hard time. Maybe you havent been doing that, i dont know. But alot of people have.
