It's 2019 now and I have probably hundreds of bowls of ramen along with countless shumai under my belt, all eaten with these lovely pieces of craftsmanship. There's no wear whatsoever that I can tell but that's understandable given the material.
As posited in my original 2015 review, It is indeed a matter of practice to get used to the thin, rounded tips but I find that I can pick up anything I could need to without any fumbling, even down to single grains of rice. It didn't take much to get to this point but I have more chopstick-friendly eating options available now than I did all those years ago.
So with that settled, I still recommend these chopsticks for anyone who loves titanium in its many colors or wants a little extra style with their buy-once-and-use-forever utensils.

Did you guys really spend over $100 on chopsticks? Call me uncultured but do these really work any better than the free wooden ones you get at a Chinese restaurant? Sure are cool looking though.
kingofheart4711It's true, a cheaper version of virtually every product in the world can be found somewhere. You could spend $5 on a t-shirt, $10, $50.... does the $50 shirt "work any better?" That's tough to say... And of course far more expensive chopsticks than this can be purchased as well. Even in titanium you can spend $170 on a pair of chopsticks. Or $295 for sterling silver. And while around 500,000,000 disposable chopsticks end up in landfills each year, these are handmade by an artist who is proud of his work and each pair will last lifetimes, and will (hopefully) give the user far more joy and appreciation for their food than a cheap, splintering wooden pair. But you're right, the wooden ones do work for eating!
Apparently you save $2.27 when purchasing on massdrop with added waiting time and less color option.

$137.73 on Massdrop, warehouse shipping date: Dec 12 + shipping time to each customer
When I say: " $140 on eating tools, free shipping for order over $100, internationally? Mean 2 things:
- For "free shipping for order over $100" = free shipping to US for order over $100 (this is a confirmation)
- For "internationally?" = no idea if there is international free shipping for order over $100 or not, hence the unsure ? question mark (subtly indicate: need confirmation on shipping fees for international from other people)
