I've owned two Titan suitcases. The first one didn't survive ONE transcontinental flight before BOTH handles came off and I had to carry the suitcase around like a gigant... egg. Never seen such terrible craftmanship before. The second suitcase survived the first roudtrip, but somehow got a huge dent on the SECOND trip. I didn't dare to travel back home with a suitcase in that state and had to buy a new one and discard it at the hotel. I replaced my Titans with suitcases costing 1/4 of the price and they are holding up well.

LuoboHi Luobo. Sorry to hear about your experience with the brand. Titan produces two lines of suitcases at different pricepoints and obviously, quality. These are part of their Made In Germany line that's up to much higher standards in terms of finishing, built and sturdiness.

TomasVHi Luobo,
There was a quality control problem with the OLD Titan products which drove the company into receivership and filed, Chapter 11, they are currently under new ownership since 2011 run by the owners of the largest German luggage company Travelite. The new products are way superior. I have owned one for 2 years now and taken it on multiple trips and it still runs like new.
bromA warranty would possibly bring people back. No strong warranty would keep people like me away. Samsonite has a 10 year warranty. Surely if you market it as made in Germany you can offer a great warranty.
