Product Description
The result of a popular Kickstarter, KeySmart offers a clever alternative to the traditional keyring. By providing the structure and order of a Swiss-made pocket knife, KeySmart effectively eliminates bulk, thigh poke, key jingle, and other snares of keychains past Read More
I have used this since 2016, and it has held up great, I have recently swapped it for the orbitkey, so the only point I remove is because the tile version only charges with micro USB and has not been updated for a while.
I'll be honest, I was expecting more.
A key chain like this takes up more room than a tradition big ring.
That being said, the device is very well made and top notch quality.
The installation is fairly easy and can bee tighten or loosens easily.
This is a device that will last for years, and for the price, is a good long term purchase.
It also looks very cool and gets a lot of attention.
The main issue I have is that I own a car with a fairly large size key (with key-less entry) and this key just dangles on top and creates and awkward grip for the whole kit.
If you own only keys or a small car key, I don't think this will be an issue.
Customer service was s**t and the description was misleading. Wanted the short one and got the long one and was told too bad. Beware, I suspect a lot of the merchandise on massdrop are factory seconds, while otherwise in good condition have discreet defects.
I’ve used keychains, key pouches and key rings to organize my keys. This is probably the best one yet. I love its compact design. Absolutely zero bulk in your pocket or everyday carry bag.
I love this little key organizer. The biggest advantage, to me, is that I don't have keys poking me in the leg anymore, as they are folded up inside the KeySmart. I do recommend getting the "Extended Option," aka longer attachment posts to be able to hold more keys, because keys attached to opposite sides can block each other, making it more difficult to extend the key you want. Also, although I like having a bottle opener for emergencies, but it is connected to the loop ring you attach your car key, meaning the bottle opener cannot be fully extended if anything is attached to the loop ring. In fact, the loop ring is a problem even if you don't have the bottle opener, because it blocks rotation of any key attached to the same attachment post. All the more reason to get the longer attachment posts, and then put all your keys on the post without the loop ring.
