I own one of these that I bought directly from County Comm. The case itself is very nice and seems well constructed, though somewhat overpriced for what it is.
The insert on the other hand, is a piece of garbage. I have several Zippos, so I know how to use a lighter, and I never have any trouble getting them to light. This on the other hand, might light 5% of the time. I believe that the wick that they use is very low quality, and additionally, the hole that the wick passes through is too small, constricting the wick. Don't plan on replacing the wick though - it is about 1/2 the diameter of a standard Zippo wick, so you'll have to look elsewhere. Drilling out the hole is a hassle because the insert is made of flimsy sheet metal and there is a sort of sleeve attached to the under side of the insert where the wick passes though.
Overall, if you want a titanium key fob pill case, there are much cheaper options out there (that aren't branded Maratac, no less), and if you want a lighter, this absolutely isn't for you.
J.E.LA question to anyone who already owns this. I'm quite interested in this if only for the Ti pill fob. Can anyone see if without the insert, this casing is big enough to carry a single AAA battery? Appreciate to anyone that can try. Cheers!
