Interesting design, but I think I prefer my CORE stove. Packs flat, weighs less, does gasification and can be assembled in different configs depending on need. It also looks more stable and easier to feed than this one. Would love to see a drop for the CORE 5!

YogaBearWhich CORE 5 are you referring to? There seem to be different versions. I can't see which version would be lighter than this stove. Are you including the weight of the pot in your comparison?

mark2906You are correct, I phrased that badly. The CORE 5 and 4 are heavier, the comparable CORE 3 is the same as this, depending on config (http://shop.mysurvivalpack.com/core-4-stove-titanium). However, with the full CORE 5 I can assemble a 3, 4 or 5 depending on the occasion :-)
I haven't tried this Toaks stove - might go for it, but feeding looks awkward.
