MarPablWhat worrying about that info? It is website selling a design they stole from Tockr. Now they are trying to profit from it. Not uncommon these days unfortunately.
Here is a picture comparing a Doxa 750 to a Tockr Air Defender. Both are cushion cases with a Lug 2 Lug 468mm so they both wear short on the wrist.
Oh and here is my two Air Defenders! Yes I am a fan.
GuebitoLocoI have two Air Defender chronos. and can say that the craftsmanship on these is very good. The case is well finished with good transition from brushed to polished surfaces. The dial is beautiful, the blue is just the perfect blue for it and the orange accents are a great complement. It has been running great too. The inner bezel is smooth and locks in place with precision.
Love what they’re going for here (very reminiscent of a classic Sinn 140-ish vibe). Case is bigger than it needs to be though. And it’s a shame the Valjoux 7750 won the chrono movement sweepstakes cuz a Lemania 5100 is what this watch really needs. Still a really cool piece IMO, especially if the micro brand thing doesn’t bug you. The black PVD version is the cat’s ass!
You are totally right. They are actually so expensive to repair I have had to tell a couple of customers they would be better of putting their watch in the safe and not wear it.
Mac11I have the blue on bracelet and the bead blasted panda on strap. Love them and the dials are beautiful. Also the case profile is very cool, unique.
