I think it's too small...
I like the specs and the watch in general, however I've just found possibly disturbing information that makes me pass for now. I'll keep checking.

What worrying about that info? It is website selling a design they stole from Tockr. Now they are trying to profit from it. Not uncommon these days unfortunately.
A lot of nice dial variations were. Why do the big name brands usually only offer black or sometimes white or black?

Honestly? Because they don't want to invest in their products to give customers more options.
And boring.
I was close to order Tockr but found much more interesting watch with ETA 7751 for the same money. By the way it's the same company who developed Air Defender. What do you think? https://gruman-watches.com/collections/gruman-cosmonaut-chronograph

Here is a picture comparing a Doxa 750 to a Tockr Air Defender. Both are cushion cases with a Lug 2 Lug 468mm so they both wear short on the wrist. Oh and here is my two Air Defenders! Yes I am a fan.

Great pic!
Thanks for the pic 👍🏼
7750 for 1k is always a bargain. But now how about the craftsmanship of the rest of the watch. This needs to be reviewed by Hodinkee

I have two Air Defender chronos. and can say that the craftsmanship on these is very good. The case is well finished with good transition from brushed to polished surfaces. The dial is beautiful, the blue is just the perfect blue for it and the orange accents are a great complement. It has been running great too. The inner bezel is smooth and locks in place with precision.
I agree, sometimes it’s hard to assess a watch based on those large site reviews which may be biased
I like what I'm seeing but 45mm might just be too big for my punny 6.75 inch wrist.

Of course, anytime. If you have more questions. Don’t hesitate. Enjoy the weekend
Love what they’re going for here (very reminiscent of a classic Sinn 140-ish vibe). Case is bigger than it needs to be though. And it’s a shame the Valjoux 7750 won the chrono movement sweepstakes cuz a Lemania 5100 is what this watch really needs. Still a really cool piece IMO, especially if the micro brand thing doesn’t bug you. The black PVD version is the cat’s ass!

You are totally right. They are actually so expensive to repair I have had to tell a couple of customers they would be better of putting their watch in the safe and not wear it.
That PVD version is very, very nice.
Hmmm, handsome looking peice. I'll have to do some research.... Anyone out there own one of these watches?

I have the blue on bracelet and the bead blasted panda on strap. Love them and the dials are beautiful. Also the case profile is very cool, unique.
