I've got two of Davids (Reate) knives and I would put them as good or better than a few American customs that I paid over a grand for. You just can't beat this guys eye for quality. This is going to be an epic $500ish knife that will be sought after for years, like the Kershaw Tilt.

ChoppedlowI am pretty comfortable in saying that if you are purchasing this knife for intrinsic collector value with the hope that its value will increase in the future, you're going to be badly mistaken. This is a production knife made on machines using Todd Begg's design. Hey, I could be wrong, but I've seen how Reate's other limited run designer collabs are doing and I haven't seen any huge upjump in price. Especially since there's nothing really groundbreaking on display here. Plenty of other knife makers are producing similar fit and finish at similar prices, using the exact same materials (or better with regard to blade steel). So, the best of luck to you, but I think nine out of ten knife collectors will take that Kershaw Tilt all day long over this knife.

KnifeGuyi obviously can't speak to the production quality of a tilt as i have never seen one in person(and i hear that they are amazing), but i have to say i hate the aesthetics of it, it is not a good looking knife, it looks like it was made from spare futuristic-tron boomerang parts
also, there are 2 for sale right now on ebay that anyone can have for the low low price of $2,150 each
