I think the problem is obvious. Nobody here wants to pay this kind of money for a Chinese made knife. Sorry but I collect knives I would never pay a price like that for a Chinese knife no matter who designs it and what it's made of. Their level of workmanship just can't demand those type of prices.

Sam127Have you ever tried a Steelcraft? I had a Begg Bogeda Field Grade and a Steelcraft Mini Bodega. They were both amazing and the Chinese made mini was superb. I collect knives too. Reate (who makes the SteelCraft line for Begg) does amazing work.
You shouldn't be biased against Chinese knives. You should be biased against Chinese crap. This is not Chinese crap.

Sam127"Their level of workmanship"? China has over a billion people, you can't possibly know what everyone there is capable of manufacturing. Ignorant comment.

Sam127Maybe you should check where your $900 phone and $2000 laptop were made and get back to us, Sparky.

Sam127You clearly haven't been following developments in the knife world because Chinese companies like Reate (who manufacture this knife for Todd Begg), WE knives and Kizer are making some of the finest manufactured knives out there, rivalling the machining standards of US-based "mid-tech" makers and Chris Reeve.
