I own these pants. Got them on sale from Topo a while back. Calling them "Camp Pants" is kind of a joke. They are basically chino pants made out of a thin material. Frankly, I have no idea why they are over $100. They do not feel particularly well made. There is zero stretch, and the material feels flimsy, like if you were to scrape against a rock it would rip. Hard to imagine even squatting to start a fire. If you want pants to actually wear camping, get something by Mountain Khakis, Patagonia, Prana, etc. . BUT, they do look good. I wear them to work, and they are good looking pants.
Also, size up. Like if you wear a 32/33ish waist get a 34. They run super tight on the thighs.
