From Outside to GQ, publications around the world are singing the praises of Topo Designs. And who can blame them? This Colorado-based company—founded in a Fort Collins basement—combines the built-to-last construction of outdoor gear with the style of a boutique Japanese brand. The aesthetic is one of simplicity: solid colors, geometric lines, austere design. And the company’s ethos echoes this aesthetic. Every product is made in the United States, and the flagship store, in Denver, is constructed from a repurposed shipping container.
Note: At checkout, you'll have your choice of color: khaki, navy, navy/leather, olive, or red. Quantities are limited to 50 backpacks in each color.
Made in Colorado, the Daypack features a super-tough 1000d Cordura exterior and a coated pack-cloth liner on the inside. Ideal for a day hike or a day at the office, this midsize bag measures about 1.5 feet long by 1 foot wide and boasts more than 1,300 cubic inches of space. Inside the bag, a sleeve provides secure storage for a laptop, while an organizer pocket offers space for pens, tools, and other small items. Slightly contoured for added comfort, the padded shoulder straps are fully adjustable and equipped with thumb holes for long hikes. Additional gear can be attached to the natural leather lash tab near the main zipper.
