Would this stack be an upgrade to my current set up, Magni 2 + Dragonfly Black?

On that note regarding the amp, if you can find a Magni 2 uber (note that the Modi is Schiit's DAC) for under $100, then definitely I am in agreement. However, from what I've read in reviews and user responses, the most practical reason to get the Magni 2 Uber over the Topping A30 is for the added power. People tend to go for the A30 over the Magni 2 (non-uber) simply for the additional outputs. I went with the Topping 30 stack due to price and because I prefer the interface on the front for easy of access. I can confirm that it is an extremely clean sounding pair of hardware. Of course, with Schiit you get something made in the USA and with a great warranty.

intkIt's a definite upgrade on the DAC. The amp, not so much. A stand-alone DAC unit with external power supply will outperform a USB powered DAC every time. Particularly when you're talking about a company that makes a USB DAC and a separate USB decrapifier because you know they didn't build in the power handling that can make USB power for audio tolerable. You also have the luxury of being able to add a linear supply to it in the future. With a USB DAC you're stuck with what you have without some serious rework on a PCB, which most people don't want to get involved in.

HeeftyTrue and Schiit has horrible USB interface. I've tested it myself and I can't get clean sound that doesn't have pops especially in quieter tracks across 3 different operating systems and 5 different hardware configurations.
