Smshrhaha good point! Yeah I got it a few weeks ago and it sounds great. I went through the long massdrop wait for the HD6XX so I know the struggle. Very happy with my setup now though (D30->Magni3->6XX). The D30 is definitely worth the wait if you decide to go for it.

mksurfin7Actually yes,currently i have the massdrop o2 amp and and ATH M40x But i am looking forward to order an hd6xx but i am confused if i should order topping A30+D30 combo or D30 with Magni3 or keep my O2 and pair it with D30.
any suggestions from a fellow D30+magni 3 user ?

SmshrWell I have never heard the a30 or the O2, but I understand they are both very good amps. If you already have the O2 I am guessing you'll be perfectly happy using that in combo with the d30. The magni3 is great but I have no reason to believe it will give you noticable gains. The a30 would look nicest with the d30 if you're willing to pay for the aesthetics. I can barely listen to my hd6xx with the volume knob past 12:00 on low gain with the magni so I don't think any of the amps would have a problem giving you the power you need.

SmshrA bit late, but the A30 and Magni 3 will give you a bit more power for more power hungry headphones like the Fostex TH-X00s or planar magnetic headphones. I'm waiting for the A30 so I can compare it to the Magni 3. I liked my O2, but after 8 months the DAC I had shorted out, and eventually my O2 went as well. So I can't directly compare to the O2 anymore, but the HD598 did well with it. The 6XX should pair well with any of the amps. I'd pick up a Magni 3 or A30 if you want more power hungry headphones in the future.
