You seem to know a lot about amps. Is the bravo v2 amp a good pair with the 7xx's that is what I have been using for a few months now.

mfish33I don't know if you were asking me, but here is my 2 cents worth. You already have the amp. Do you like it? If so, great. Tube amps seem to need to be matched with certain headphone ohmage more than solid state amps do, but if yours is working and gives you good volume, then great. It is a very economically priced amp (which doesn't make it bad). However, if I was starting from scratch and bought the 7xxs I probably would then would have bought an amp in the $150-$300 range. I am not rich and it is easy for me to tell you how much of your money to spend, but that is what I would do. I owned the Little Dot 1+ tube amp for $116. When I upgraded to the Little Dot 3 for $250, it made a huge difference. I own the AKG 702s which are somewhat like the 7xx (but not as good sounding). Hope this helps.

mfish33It kooks a little clunky to me and I am 60 years old. I think the FIIO E11K is a good buy and very sleek. More a young person's looking amp.
