Is this usable as a practice amp for an electric guitar or bass? I want to play without waking the rest of the family. I’d be using it to drive a pair of inexpensive headphones, and the input would be straight from the guitar with an adapter on the guitar cable.

JCSasmorI use a Vox. A little $30 box, you plug into your guitar. It has a headphone out with volume control. It looks like a large Vox amp, only tiny. So cute!!! I don't know if this amp will work. Maybe if your guitar has a pre. or eq. It may have enough signal. Can't test mine now as the electrics are at my winter home in Tallahassee Fl. Go Seminoles! Go Buckeyes! Go Mountaineers! Please pray for W.V. LOL!

ElsidI just didn't know what else to tell you about the little baby amp. I like it, I don't know for sure, If you can use it as a practice amp. The Vox works great, however, google does contain the rest of the world and you might get a definitive answer to your question. Well wishes.
