If there's someone who bought a 104-hipro and decides they don't like it, message me on reddit /u/siven

sivendcIs it known for a lot of people not to like it and if so how are you sure you will like it? I ask because I just got it and I love it asthetically but cannot stand the keycap jiggle/ slop and the feel is okay (a little light). It doesn't feel like an hhkb, curious if the standard 104 would have been the better option. Maybe installing BKEs will fix something.

MechEngSome people don't like the amount of dishing on the keycaps; however, I really enjoy it and it's actually my favorite profile. I believe the closest thing to it is dev/tty, but that's an MX mount and hard to come by. Also, the keycaps are pretty dark grey, so they don't match as easily as either black or white.

sivendcWell having the side to side slop of the keycap is the only downside so far and the lightness of the switches.

MechEngTopre has long bothered me because they don't sell sliders as wide as the novatouch sliders to eliminate wiggle that are also as long as the realforce purple sliders (they wiggle). There's always a compromise.
