Really, this should have been released long ago.
And I'd been waiting for the next best solution for a Topre keyboard for a while now, the RealForce RGB with Cherry MX style sliders to be released instead.

GecktTopre in the recent convention showed what they're working on- and part of that I believe was RGB with Cherry MX style sliders.. and I think the pressure-adjustable topre switches by controlling the voltage/current as well? Pretty cool.

fx35sWhile let's hope they're not trying to be too ambitious and let consumes wait for too long.
It is leaked as the MX sliders, and yea those will be my next topre purchase if I ever do get another.

fx35sPLEASE drop the RGB lights, because it's NOT needed for the serious Keyboard user.
Fine for youngsters wanting to show off their E-peen to their friends but not fine for adults wanting to use a conservative but decent keyboard.
There are already scores of RGB vegas-styled keyboards provided for, so why not stick to something that really matters, keyboard feel and usage. Concentrate on that and these keyboards will be used decade after decade, whilst all the RGB rubbish gets tossed into landfills ; )

ElrickYou're right- I personally don't like RGB keyboards either. I never liked them. In fact I have never owned any keyboard with more than 3-6 lights including caps lock, num lock, etc,. :)

ElrickSeriously it's just the sliders if anything that matters, the RGB function is clearly a moneygrab like @Elrick stated targeting kids while given to an adult we'll often set the bloody damn thing to mono colors and dimmed just for practicality working in the pitch dark sometimes.

fx35sAs the conical spring inside a Topre switch compresses its capacitance changes up until the point of full compression when the key is totally bottomed out. So a pressure-adjustable Topre keyboard need only expose a set point for what capacitance activates the switch. This is inherently available in the Topre switch design but only now being offered since the market has indicated it is a desirable feature.
