I have the black 55g at work, and the white / grey variable-silent at home. For overall typing "feel" and that delicious Topre "thock", the 55g takes it all day long. However, unless you're a perfect touch typist, be prepared to have to squint for the black on black letters in low-light conditions. That's why I'm running the black at work (always brightly lit), and the white at home (sometimes low-light conditions). Even as a touch-typist, there's probably a handful of symbols that you don't have down pat.

buybuybuyhaha, no matter how good you touch type the first set of blanks you get will prove how little you actually know your keyboard. THEN you buckle down and learn all the symbols you didn't even realize you didn't know haha.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
