derb2k2Or better yet, why not go and buy it from Brian's store front first?
Don't believe the morons wanting MassDrop to get Realforce keyboards off Brian, then to sell them here, it's far cheaper to buy them direct off his website.
Amazing where all these people come from, a small town in Stupidville ; )
Again MassDrop is for us "Foreigners" who have no access to these type of keyboards plus the shipping price is amazing low compared to any other shop online.

ElrickHello Elrick,
have you gotten that FC660C yet? If so, i would love to hear your impression about that board and the Topre experience. You're one of the few who seems to have any Topreboard that seems to exist :)
Have a nice day!

ElrickOkay, and who was talking about you? I was responding to the implication that everyone else should buy these boards from EK's store. And where'd you get the notion that MD is for foreigners?

Makami@Makami i have the same question for @Elrick how do you like your FC660C ??? i have the FC660M with mx-clears and i really like the small footprint..So i'm considering getting the C with Topre.
BTW; i live in EU and we have no good choices for Topre boards here.. it's like living in a third world country man !! Really really Suck so am i happy with MD providing us with the option to buy great keyboards ?? Heck yes !! and a bit of a no !! a sad little no .. As i wished they had a EU warehouse were they would ship from.. That would save me 31% every single time i buy from MD i get that ugly yellow sticker telling me to watch out .And next that next time if i pass the limit of $45 i would have to pay 31% ..So answering the question is MD for foreigners ??? As a foreigner that wishes he wasn't one..ahahha i believe yes would be the answer..But MD does a whole lot more than just provide us with Great keyboard opportunities like this one..But i really really like what they are doing with the guys from Input Club !! And the WhiteFox project..And cant't wait to see what they will be doing with the K-type keyboard.. The only reason why i did not get that awesome WhiteFox board was because of the 21% Vat And 10% DHL customs fee i had to pay ..Bringing that board to a whopping $300 + But i don't know if i can restrain my self with the K-type..Or this RealForce drop..

r3alityOf course MD is for everyone and Elrick is able to speak for himself. His intention is that american people often, not always, have other resources to get stuff for reasonable prices with free domestic shipping ... . Taking waiting time and discount in consideration MD isn't always the first choice for americans.
But it is a different story for people from abroad, because shipping from american stores is allmost every time twice as expensive and the product costs 5-10 percent more. Having in mind that we have to pay duties/tax for the complete price with shipping this sums up. That's what he meant, but he didn't express it that precise this time, but on other times before.
Cheers

MakamiYah i see Elrick on nice drops..and he seems like a nice guy.. Fortunate to be living in the US at least i think he does.. ..you lucky ....ahhahha And to tell you the truth..I don't do a lot with negative comments..That is to say everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and having the freedom to say what ever you want is a must..

MakamiIf Americans can get the same deal somewhere other than MD, sure. In this case, American residents can't find an 87U with four PBT space bars anywhere else.

TuxKeyHave you ever bought something and you did not have to pay extra taxes? Im very tempted to join to this drop. It is like having no alternatives and always having to pay extra taxes but 200+60extra taxes is so fucking hard. Where is your from buddy? This would be my first mechanical keyboard and is very atractive choice.

Upsssi live in Netherlands , Amsterdam..So i would have to pay 21% extra tax + 11% Custom fees DHL asks. I bought a couple of Double shot PBT keycaps twice and did not have to pay extra tax.. the limit is somewhere around €25 so i split my order in to two batches..Paying extra shipping was cheaper than the F...Tax.. i don't mind paying tax mind you..But when you look around and see all the Postal box constructions we have here in Amsterdam where even artists like U2 use it..Even StarBuck has a fictional office here..And it's just a PO Box. All to avoid having to pay taxes.. I really don't understand why MassDrop doesn't just open a warehouse here in Netherlands ..I mean were the country that Obama complains about being a tax haven..Well i can tell it's no party for me as a small consumer.. Also if you order from Massdrop you always get a lovely yellow sticker. Ordering from Ebay gives you a better chance because those guys sum time even put that the item is a gift..Even a couple of kickstart guys did that with my orders funny ..hahahah And a couple of other US stores do the same thing.. i guess more and more people are getting fed up with the crappy EU And how they treat there citizens..

msouch that hurt..21% tax ? plus custom fees 10% like us ?? ..I e-mailed customer support asking them to please think of a distribution center inside the EU.. And to please forward this to the appropriate department.. i really hope more people living in the EU make this request ..MD could do this..Living in Netherlands i see al kind of weird constructions to avoid paying taxes ...Why should we not profit from it.. Also this would help prices of Topre boards in the EU ..i looked at the UK reseller OMG prices are way way to high ...Even with tax import fees he is still to expensive
