I just received the drop about 2 hours ago. I kinda don't like the PBT bars that came with it lol. The stock ABS bar have the same texture as the PBT caps on the keyboard. Swapping in the rougher/grainier feeling bars made the keyboard feel weird to type on. I'm going to use the PBT bars anyway just to see if I can get used to it. :/

tangkimsI bought 2 white realforce 87U 55g keyboards. Some of the PBT space bars they included are defective. The black one for me is too tight and cause the stabilizers on the space bar to clamp against the plastic. My cap basically gets stuck and doesn't bounce back up once depressed lol. So lame :(

jay.liuThis may not solve the issue, but have you tried placing them on once, taking them off, then replacing them? I heard from Matt3o that that alleviates many issues, but it sounds like yours is a bit more serious.
Like @tangkims mentioned, you should contact support.
Also, just want to follow up on my experience with my Realforce. I've had mine since the first drop. To this day I still get giddy when I walk into my office, where I keep my board, and type all day at work. The switches are *that* amazing.

Yeah they grow on you as you use them once and a while because sometimes I'm forced to use really ugly input devices but upon arriving back home and sitting in front of a 55g RF, is like perfection.

ElrickI had only one MX board and a buckling spring before this. I initially thought the MX board was great, but now I find it's too stiff compared to using the Realforce. The Topre switches have such a nice snap that I find myself looking for more excuses to type.
I love my Model M and it was the very first mechanical board I ever used, but during longer typing sessions I find my fingers get a bit sore. Still far better than MX switches, even if MX switches can be customized to no end.
