Deciding between this and the RGB version of the Topre Keyboard which has media keys added on. Does anyone know if the RGB version FEELS the same? I messed around with my friends Topre keyboard and fell in love with it, but I don't want to give up my corsair back lit keyboard just yet.

Mordecai18Yes and no about the feels. This keyboard appears to have the variable weighting on it's switches, meaning the weighting ranges from 30g on the pinky keys to 45g (I believe) on the index keys. The RGB is 45g uniform I believe. Past that, they should feel the same.

Mordecai18I tried Realforce RGB while I was in Japan a few weeks ago. The store I went to had RGB and normal 45g version next to each other so I compared both while at store(only for a few minutes). The sound and the feel is different and I didn't like the RGB. It felt solid just like what you can expect from Realforce but I the sound wasn't to my liking probably due to the switch housing being different kind of plastic to allow lights to pass through and It might be because the stock keycaps is ABS rather than PBT, the upstroke was having higher pitch. Even higher than that of Leopold. I haven't used it long enough to say more but from the demo unit at store I'd say it is a Realforce that doesn't feel like a Realforce.
The good thing about the Realforce RGB is that it eliminates the problem Topre KB users are facing today that is the kaycap compatibility. It is MX compatible with US ANSI layout and it has standard bottom row making it compatible to most custom keysets available.

Mordecai18If RGB is important for you, the RGB Topre might be the board for you. Personally, I prefer the old school topre feel and design (not a fan of backlighting tbh - I can touch type so it's not really useful and I find it distracting - but, that's personal preference..) The feel of the RGBs isn't worse imho, but it's a little bit different, again which one you prefer is personal preference. PLUS, on the new ones you can set the activation level (a benefit of being capacitive), it's great in that you can have a different profile for gaming and typing; I think that you could get closer to OG topre if you spent time playing with that. So, while I personally like the old school Topre better, at this price - get one that fits you best. This is a short review from someone in a similar situation to you: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=87764.0

Mordecai18The RGB board doesn't use PBT plastic for the key caps, so they sound significantly less thock-y.
