A Blade That Can Do It All

Built for the great outdoors, the TOPS Camp Creek brings a 4.4-inch blade to the table. The unique teardrop shape of the blade is excellent for skinning, piercing, shaving, chopping, and more—and everything is made easier thanks to the S35VN steel, one of the best on the commercial market. The handle on the Camp Creek is thick at the base and slim towards the top. This shape, combined with the ergonomic contours of the midsection, makes it extremely comfortable and hotspot free. Earthy, multicolored G-10 scales are securely fastened to the body for grip retention. There’s also a Kydex sheath for on-the-go carry.

A Closer Look at S35VN Steel

Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
