TOPS HOG 4.5 Fixed Blade Knife (Micarta)

The TOPS Knives HOG (Hunter of Gunmen) is so named because of the designer’s background as a sniper. While on duty, he got the chance to handle many knives, none of which was quite right. So he took it upon himself to create the perfect handle by carving a wooden closet rod every time he found a troublesome area. The HOG 4.5 is the finalized result. It features a micarta handle with grooves in all the right places to prevent hotspots. The oversized lanyard hole is designed to clip to a carabiner so you don’t have to put your knife down in the field. The blade, made from 1095 carbon steel, measures almost 5 inches long. It’s drop-point shape lends itself to piercing, slicing, skinning, and more. The tip is directly in line with the center of the handle, giving the user a keen awareness of its location, even when working blind. Also included is a ballistic nylon sheath.
