BenzoI was wondering the same thing myself. Sure as hell isn't legal to carry in new york state, and I'm pretty sure many other states in "'merica" is the same

KavikMy response was purely meant to be comical. While I love TOPS knives, they make a myriad models that leave me scratching my head.

BenzoLol I figured as much, just wanted to give the OP a serious response
Edit : the whole thing is a little ridiculous though. If any knife can be deemed a dangerous weapon if used as one, then shouldn't any knife also be able to be considered safe until it's used as a weapon against someone?

KavikAfter reading the entire descriptio, it does say ‘for LE & military as a last resort when they don’t have their firearm...’ lol 😁

BenzoNot directed at you personally: How is this appropriate for police to use against citizens? i love collecting knives, but hate seeing how this shit is advertised with every dagger. It is scary to think that it is potentially completely legal for a dagger to be thrust into the heart of you, me and everyone else who isn’t a police officer.

lobsterMorally? It's not. But these companies know it's not legal to carry for the majority of the US, so who else are they going to market it to to say it has a purpose besides murder? Lol
And we all know that cops don't get held to the same laws us regular citizens do when it comes to carrying weapons 🙄

bambam67I would not have a problem with weapons being equally legal and accessible for the public and the police. My problem lies in the idea that police should always be better armed than a civilian, when it is not clear to me how this practice translates directly into the safety of myself or my family. I have never had a police officer provide protection or respond in time to do so. Not when I was mugged, not when my home was robbed not when my grandmother was shot and died. I have had a police officer draw a gun on me when I was 14 at an empty beach lighting fireworks on July 4th in a county where fireworks were prohibited due to fire risk. I guess lighting them in the sand feet from the Pacific Ocean was not enough to mitigate the risk of fire in the mind of this fine officer. Bottom line—if they get to carry, I should be allowed to carry under the assumption that these tools are for personal protection. If you believe a police officer’s life is worth more than a civilians, and they should be allowed more tools to protect themselves, then I don’t agree. If you believe a police officer’s job is more dangerous than mine, you would be right, and I am not arguing for disarmament of police officers who may need to use their weapons to defend themselves, but that’s not a reason to make it illegal for a civilian to defend themselves in the same way. I would like to hear your thoughts on this topic and I will read your response carefully.

lobstergot no problem with civilians and firearms or any other hand held weapon...the 2nd amendment doesn't say IF or BUT or EXCEPT...and ARMS is defined as weapons. not FIRE arms...ARMS. ..a police officers life isnt worth MORE than a civilians but it is AT RISK more often than a civilians...and i would want the police to be better armed and trained than the CRIMINALS they are responsible for stopping. same with the military vs any other countries military. thats the point, as for why they should have ANY weapon deemed necessary or even BETTER...1997 North Hollywood shootout and 1986 FBI Miami shootout pretty much answers that question. my repsonse to your comment was in part , it sounded more like a personal issue with police in general than the weapons. as did your follow up response to mine. but hey maybe not meant that way ,so my apologies for assuming if that is the case . but to me it came off that way.. as an aside ,my state recently took the majority of edged weapons that are illegal in other states off our list of illegal weapons..particularly knives , automatic ( switch blades , etc. ) title 21 now includes those types in with handguns for carry and self defense.

buck1776Lol okay, let's see if you can back that up, I'm curious. What country are you in? And, assuming you're going to say the US, what state? Because this isn't legal in many states in this country full of "FREEDOM"
