Product Description
The Smoke Jumper is characterized by its unconventional, aggressive clip-point blade, which lends itself to splitting, batoning, and prying. It takes its name from those brave enough to parachute into wildfires and take on the flames Read More
KavikAgreed. The smoke jumper is what I look for in a knife and I would use the heck out of it but so is the Operator 7.
I like 1095 but I really like a well heat treated 1075. Its super tough and I have several knives in it that perform superbly.

Another opportunity missed to create an ambidextrous sheath, perpetuating the tax on left-handers....
raccaHey! I've owned my Silent Hero knife from TOPS for a couple years now, it's awesome! We actually used it in the kitchen for a few months, and occasionally still give it a go, but mostly on specialty foods, like watermelon or on something that needs a strong blade. The thickness of the blade makes this the ultimate balance between a camping knife, survival knife, fighting knife and cooking knife. But it's not perfect at any one thing. It's just a bit too thick and beefy to be a replacement for a proper chefs knife (many great ones can be found here at Drop.com). Likewise with the others, but if I could only carry one BIG knife in the woods, this would be it. It's also beautiful and hyper functional. Please join me at: www.patreon.com/Patriot1
