Where's the obligatory "but the price on Amazon is only $____ and I don't have to wait two months for my shipments!!!!"?

TaniosHonestly, this may be the first board game drop that I've seen that's actually priced really well. Sure, seeing 20-25% of the total as shipping isn't great, but even with that factored in this drop is a solid deal. The 2-week delay between the end of the drop and the estimated shipping date still confuses me, but its not like this is a new release that I want to get to the table immediately so that's fine.
As for the game itself... I've played the base game half a dozen times or so and it's solid. I haven't played the expansion (and I've heard it isn't quite up to par with the base but is still decent), but it's priced right here. I can best describe it as "Dominion with a board" -- and will clarify that the board in this case is certainly a good thing! It adds a nice layer of strategy overall.

TemigSarcasm doesn't translate well on the interweb. Oh well... That said, I concur wholeheartedly. $31.99 for the base game and $39.31 for the expansion actually makes this not a bad deal with shipping (at least in the US) especially if the lowest drop point is reached. If the MD Gods can somehow see their way to including the first map pack in here as well without increasing the price that would just be icing on the cake!

TemigReally? I haven't played either but I've only heard good things about the expansion, to the point that it's suggested as a better first purchase -- more interesting cards, more board variety, and better balanced for 2p.

AldreneanI rarely play 2-player and the feedback I heard wasn't in regard to that. That being said, it was also just a single piece of feedback (the only that I've personally heard) and we all know everyone has different opinions so it very well may be better to some. As with most of the deck builders out there, variety adds a lot to re-playability so I'm happy to pick it up regardless. Glad to here that there's positive feedback about Rising Sun out there though -- that's a bonus!

TemigYup, I even went to my local "comic book store" (i say it with quotes because it's more MTG than comic) and it's $60 + tax for just the original.
